Film Extrusion & Co-extrusion
Mylan Technologies Inc. has the ability to produce, under cGMP conditions, cast monolayer films
and extrusion coatings as well as cast co-extruded films. These films can be
produced either as bonded-laminated on a carrier or cast on a strippable liner.
Film Extrusion
All our medical extrusion lines are equipped with desiccant drying, which allows us to process the broad
range of hydroscopic polymers used in the healthcare industry.
Corona Treatment - This optimizes adhesion levels
during extrusion coating, and prepares finished films for any additional
coating or laminating processes.
Chill Roll Finishes - An array of finishes on our chill roll permits you to select the type of
surface for your cast or extrusion coated films.
Equipment - We offer the flexibility of a complete range of sophisticated extrusion and co-extrusion
equipment, allowing extrusion up to 10 mils thick and up to a 60 inch width. We
can provide your film in master width or narrow slit rolls for converting.
