Standard Components for Medical Device and Wound Care
We draw on over 30 years of coating and laminating experience when developing our custom and standard components. These component
materials are available in a variety of roll widths, thicknesses, and base polymers for use in medical device and wound care applications.
The MEDIFILM® line of extruded and co-extruded films features four standard film categories, each with distinct
characteristics to meet the specific requirements of wound care, ostomy, and other medical applications.
Silicone and Fluorosilicone coated release liners are available in a wide range of coat weights, release rates, and substrates.
Mylan Technologies Inc. (MTI) has combined standard component backing materials (MEDIFILM®),
release liners (MEDIRELEASE®) and adhesives to create a single-component product.
