MEDIDERM®

Medical Laminates

Mylan Technologies Inc. (MTI) has combined standard component backing materials (MEDIFILM®, release liners (MEDIRELEASE®) and adhesives to create a single component product. This provides numerous features and benefits to choose from when developing a cost-effective medical device or wound-care product. Available in roll widths up to 43".

Backing Material
This portion of the MEDIDERM® laminate can be produced using any MEDIFILM® standard component. The backing material can be further customized by using other materials including, but not limited to, woven materials, foams and foils.

Adhesive
We have hydrophilic or hydrophobic pressure-sensitive adhesive available as PIB, silicone, or acrylic-based systems. Each one providing specific adhesion, tack, release rate, and viscosity. All are produced in coat weights of 3 g/m2 and greater.

Release Liner
This aspect of the MEDIDERM® standard component features the complete MEDIRELEASE® product offering. You can choose from paper or polyester substrate with either silicone or fluorosilicone coating applied to one or both sides.

The MEDIDERM® line is truly the most innovative approach to component manufacturing. It provides the time and cost savings of standardized production while creating a wide variety of options usually found only in custom manufacturing.

Self-wound transfer adhesive coated onto a paper silicone release liner.

MEDIDERM® 3200
Adhesive-coated co-polyester film on paper silicone release liner.

MEDIDERM® 3505
Adhesive-coated foam on polyester silicone release liner.

MEDIDERM® 3701
Adhesive-coated polyurethane film on a silicone-coated paper release liner.

MEDIDERM® 4000
Adhesive-coated polyurethane/PET laminate on paper silicone release liner.

Your exclusive remedy and Mylan's sole liability for breach of warranty or contract is limited to refund of the purchase price or replacement of any Mylan product shown to be other than as expressly warranted, and Mylan expressly disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages.
