Mylan Technologies has led the way in the development of patented processes and
components for the transdermal industry. We have created standard occlusive
backing materials to fill specific needs of the industry. The MEDIFLEX line
consists of a variety of standard materials and laminates, each available in a
wide range of thicknesses and roll widths.
MEDIFLEX® 1001 - Translucent polyolefin - Ideal
for applications that require elasticity and a frosted appearance.
MEDIFLEX® 1200 - Translucent Ethylene Vinyl
Acetate (EVA) film laminated to a polyester, providing maximum strength and
barrier properties.
MEDIFLEX® 1201 - Translucent EVA film
laminated to a polyester, providing maximum strength and barrier properties.
MEDIFLEX® 1203 - Translucent polyethylene
(PE) film laminated to a polyester, providing maximum strength and barrier
properties.
MEDIFLEX® 1500 - Pigmented EVA film laminated
to a polyester, providing maximum strength and barrier properties.
MEDIFLEX® 1501 - Pigmented PE film laminated to
a polyester, providing maximum strength and barrier properties.
MEDIFLEX® 1502 - Pigmented Peach EVA film
laminated to a metalized polyester, providing maximum barrier properties.
Our MEDIFLEX
® line of transdermal backing material is
produced in medical manufacturing areas and in conformance with cGMP
requirements. The materials are the subject of Type III Drug Master Files,
simplifying your FDA filing.
